What is hemp and is it legal?
Industrial hemp (cannabis sativa), or simply hemp, has been grown in Australia legally for many years and is gaining interest due to recent changes in food standards allowing human consumption of hemp seed in Australia.
Hemp is a distinct variety of cannabis sativa that has been used for hundreds of years to produce fibre, rope, fabrics and as a food source. Using hemp as a food source will not get you high.
Will it make me intoxicated?
No. All of our products have hemp seed oil as a base which does not contain the psychoactive ingredient.
Will my horse pass a swab test?
The industrial hemp plant is classified overall as low to zero for any cannabinoids. Pure hemp seed does not contain any cannabinoids while any low reading is confined to the flowers and leaves. The flower and leaves are separated and not processed or included with the hemp seed. In addition the hemp seed is cleaned prior to being processed.
However, due to environmental effects while growing in the field, the harvesting process and the manufacturing process, traces of these low concerning elements may remain with the hemp seed products.
As a result, we make the statement our products "may contain" slight traces of cannabinoids.
Out of abundance of extreme caution, for race/eventing horses we do not recommend using these products during or two weeks prior to an event. The product is still beneficial for race/eventing horses when spelling and for all other horses all the time.

How long will it take to receive my order?
For Australian orders we expect 2–7 days from dispatch and for shipping overseas we will advise upon placement of order.
Understandably there might be delays from the carriers due to Covid, Christmas rush periods and other force majure events.
How will I know if my order has been shipped?
Once shipped you will receive email confirmation to say your order is shipped and will be provided with a tracking number so you can follow the movement of your order.
Is it safe to order through Provex online and what payment options are there?
Yes, we use Shopify online which is a secure, safe and convenient ordering and payment method. Our payment methods are debit and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Applepay and GooglePay) and buy now-pay later with Afterpay.
What if I am not happy with my product?
We want the best for you and know that our products assist with many conditions. If for any reason you are unhappy with your product, send an email to info@provex.com.au.
What if I made a mistake with my order?
Because we like to ship orders quickly please email us as soon as possible at info@provex.com.au or call us on 0478 357 913 so we change or cancel the order before it is sent out.
What happens if my product arrives damaged?
Please take a picture and send us an email at info@provex.com.auso we can assist with getting you a replacement order and follow up with our carrier to see what has occurred.
